- Thank you Dr. Mike for all your help!I am sorry I am not able tyo keep up with your treatment plan at the moment. I was seeing another chiropractor, and signed a contract with him and I can’t get out of it. I just wanted to let you know that you helped me more in 2 visits than he did in 4 months. Take care, see you at the gym!Kate P.

Kimberly - I am a 43 year old former coach potato who started doing CrossFit nine months ago. This has highlighted a lot of long-running physical problems, and four months ago I injured my leg and had to stop working out. At the recommendation of several people at the local CrossFit gym, I went to Dr Mike about a month and a half ago. He immediately found the problem and through a combination of ART and acupuncture, he has almost completely restored my leg to its condition prior to my November injury. I am now able to work out again.A few weeks ago I had a particularly bad problem with my hip and leg, which resulted in so much pain that I couldn’t walk or sleep for days. NSAIDs, sleeping pills and self-applied trigger point release had no effect. One session of electrical acupuncture completely mobilized my leg and stopped all pain. I should have gone to Dr Mike on the first day.I am very happy with our progress so far. I have some older problems that have been around for decades, and that probably led to my initial injury that first brought me in to see Dr Mike. I’m confident that he will be able to help solve these long-standing issues, as well.Over the years I have seen many chiropractors, physical therapists and even a neurologist to treat chronic pain and mobility problems. None of these treatments have lasted for more than a few days, and they always want to put me on the “lifetime plan.” In contrast, Dr Mike talks about a treatment that has a finite duration. This is the first time that I have seen someone take a broad anatomy- and motion-based approach to diagnosis and treatment, and it is the first time that improvements due to manipulations have lasted more than a few days. I think Dr Mike’s techniques are getting much closer to the root cause of my physical problems, which is some combination of soft tissue and myofascial dysfunction.

Milford, CT - “Being a highly competitive cyclist and athlete I am used to performing at a high level. That all changed when i developed a pain in my leg. For more than 9 months I had been trying to find a treatment that would work and get my training intensity back to where it needed to be. I tried everything, chiropractic, medication, specialists had an MRI and nothing was working. Finally I called Dr. Mike and after an initial exam he diagnosed my problem. We started acupunture and ART immediately and within a week I was riding nearly pain free. Dr. Mike’s treatments are why i am back on the bike, racing again and feeling stronger everyday! My only regret is that i didn’t start treatment with him sooner. Thanks Mike!”
Rick D. - “I have been an avid runner for years. After changing my training routine this past summer I began having pain in both my hips while running. I thought it might be a IT band issue. I tried several different methods of self treatment with no avail. I was home for the holidays visiting family and I heard from a friend how effective ART was in treating runners with pain. I went online and found that Dr. Mike practices using ART, but there was one problem. He was located over an hour away. I decided to go anyways to see if he could help. I was returning to Florida for school in four days so my time was limited and didn’t know what to expect.”"After two days of consecutive treatment (4 hours of driving) I tried running again. To my surprise the pain was almost gone, I was able to run without the nagging pain that had bothered me for over 3 months. I came in for one more visit with Dr. Mike and then it was back to school in Florida. I only hope I can find another ART doc in Florida.”Colin R.
- “I was diagnosed a year ago with tendinitis in both hands. After two rounds of steroids that didn’t seem to help, and a visit to a hand surgeon who told me that once the condition became really unbearable he would operate, I was very miserable. Not only do I work with my hands for a living, I have an old house that requires plenty of DIY – something I really enjoy – and this problem had made it very difficult to say the least.I found Dr. Mike after reading an article in the local Milford newspaper. I read all about ART on his website and then searched the web for more info. I wasn’t sure if he could help because my problem was chronic and had been going on for so long. That said, I started treatments in December 2007 and it is now mid-February 2008. My hands are so much better. I have been working on projects at home for over a month that I have not dared attempt for the past year. The pain and swelling is minimal after days of hard work, whereas before, just opening the fridge or a door was very painful.I am continuing my treatments – I want to maintain my progress and keep away from that surgeon’s office! “Lee R.
Milford, CT - Dear Channel 8 news,The reason that I encourage you to do an interview with “Dr. Mike” is from my own experience from a “common” person standpoint. I was in pain for a few months – my whole body. It was the most unusual experience that I ever had… Out of desperation, I went on line to find a Wellness Center in the area. “Dr. Mike” had a great website, and he was a local – graduate from Universities in the area. By his website he seemed to offer more wellness therapies then others. Long and short of it… I saw an arthritis doctor the same week that I went to see “Dr. Mike.” She said to me… you have all of the symptoms of lupus… I had nothing to say, but to walk out and wait for the test results. I didn’t have lupus, and they had no idea why I was in so much pain. “Dr. Mike” started ART, and chiropractic therapy with me and had me go on a “detox diet.” He was sure that it may have been a food allergy. It sure was – I am Gluten Intolerant. A change in my diet, and ongoing care when needed has changed my life 110%.Jan T.

My wrist ached 24/7 before I started treatments. After treatments of four weeks, twice a week my pain and stiffness was gone. I am able to write again without pain. I can lift and move my wrist freely without pain. Going once every two weeks keeps my wrist loose and pain free.
